This gets to the point where Pumbaa starts to dislike the song and asks Timon if they could sing another one, to which the meerkat replies that they can as long as he stands by him. Every time he sings the song's title, various unfortunate events keep happening to Pumbaa, which Timon doesn't notice. Timon performs the song as he states how happy he will be as long as he has Pumbaa by his side. It is the third song heard in The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa, as well as the third and final music video from the series. "Stand By Me" is a music video featured after "Can't Take a Yolk", the second segment of the thirteenth episode of The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa. Timon and Pumbaa in the "Stand By Me" music video.
